Frequently asked questions about GraceFlow
What is a digital waiting room?
A digital waiting room keeps waiting visitors informed about the current state of their appointment without them having to sit in the waiting area. GraceFlow keeps this deliberately simple: waiting visitors receive a personal link (for example by SMS) and see the live traffic-light status of their practitioner along with the current delay in minutes. Unlike queueing apps, no app installation is needed, and unlike waiting-room screens, no on-site hardware is required – a smartphone browser is enough.
Does GraceFlow need to be connected to our practice software?
No. GraceFlow works without any integration into practice information systems or other software: your team sets the current delay in a few clicks, and GraceFlow does the rest. That means rollout without an IT project, regardless of which software you otherwise use. An optional system integration is planned, but it is not required for operation.
Do waiting visitors have to install an app?
No. Waiting visitors simply open a web link – for example from the appointment confirmation they received by SMS. The live display works in any current browser on smartphones, tablets or computers, with no installation, no login and no sign-up. The page updates automatically in real time; there is no need to reload it.
How much effort does it take day to day?
The effort is deliberately low. Your team updates the current delay in just a few clicks: select the person, set the delay – done. There is nothing to install and no ongoing maintenance. The live display then updates itself, and waiting visitors see the change immediately. You simply adjust the status whenever the waiting time changes in your practice.
How much does GraceFlow cost?
GraceFlow comes in four plans: Free (free of charge, permanently, for a single location with one professional), Basic, Pro, and Premium. You'll find the current prices in the pricing overview on the website; in the admin area, Subscription shows what your current plan costs and which features the other plans include.
There is no setup fee. All paid plans are billed annually in advance (prices in Swiss francs, plus VAT) and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current contract year.
Where is the data stored and which data protection law applies?
GraceFlow runs on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure in the Switzerland cloud region (Zurich, europe-west6); the application data is stored in Switzerland. The applicable law is the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). The provider is GraceBit AG, headquartered in Nürensdorf, Switzerland.
